About Us

The Taunton Housing Authority was established in 1948 to provide safe, decent and affordable housing opportunities in the City of Taunton and we remain passionate about this mission. We are committed to providing opportunities to people who experience barriers to housing because of income, disability or special needs, in an environment that preserves personal dignity, and in a manner that maintains the public trust.

A primary goal of the Taunton Housing Authority is to not only provide housing for low-income households, but also to improve housing and economic opportunities for residents through our programs. We want to help our residents to not only live, but thrive, under our roofs.

We accomplish this goal alongside our mission to deliver high standards of property management, fiscal management and service delivery.

Featured Program

The Ross Family Coordinator Program creates programs, services, and/or activities to support families and youth with their education and development. These programs are often in the form of sports, education, fun, and sometimes church-related activities, or even helping residents stabilize in their community by providing case management. These programs are created for residents currently located at Pelletier Place, Oak & Highland, and Lenox Green.
